After completing this program, the student will be able to:
1. Successfully pass industry standard welding competency tests.
2. Seek and find entry level employment as a weldor.
3. Perform entry to advanced level welding skills that meets or exceeds industry standards.
4. Pursue other post secondary options (College, Military. Entrepernual )
ACTIVITY:
Instruction is given with emphasis on personal safety, shop safety and industrial safety.
Instruction is given with the focus on intensive practice to gain proficiency in the basic welding processes.
Instruction is given on the proper care and use of the tools, equipment, materials and supplies.
Instruction is given with an emphasis on workmanship, quality and productivity.
